Hi my name is Mitchell im from California. Just recently bought a 1999 248 voyager with a ox66 250hp efi and want to learn more tips and maybe some help in the future on making the boat even better. I usually target rockfish, salmon, and albacore tuna when they come around.

Welcome Mitchell and congrats on your new Grady. You will find answers to just about any Grady question you have here. Also, Grady customer service is awesome, even if your boat is used and an older model. They have answered questions for me regarding my 1994 Tournament. Enjoy the boat this summer!

Thanks. I love the boat already I was out this weekend with the weather not being to good in the rain and with south winds and northern swell and it handled it like a champ.

Congrats Mitchell! What port do you fish out of in Northern California? I typically fish out of HMB. Look forward to meeting you and fishing along side you on the pond! Welcome to the Grady family!

Welcome to the group. You have the same boat 248 same year same engine. as mentioned above it will treat you well. I bought my last spring and put over 30 hours on. Great engine too. I have done a lot of re-search in the passed year ordered parts and have updated most all systems on the boat. If I can help just let me know..............

Yeah before I took it out I changed all the spark plugs cleaned the O2 sensor and tube replace all three lp pumps and clean the vst filter this motor has about 500 hours on it. Good power too. I have a question when you idle and troll at low speeds for a while does your spark plugs get a little fowled up
