Hi all i am new to the boar, however i have 2 gradys a 1990 25' sailfish with twin 200 yamahas and a 1985 offshore pro 24 which i have recently completed restoration of. it has a 2009 300 hpdi yamaha on it and all new flush mounted electronics and a killer jbl sound system. however i have one question.

when i started the restoraton of this boat it had a thru hull transducer for an old si-tex color graph. i removed that obviously. i am now installing a thru-hull transducer for a new lowrance color graph i just bougt. what i need to know is the angle of the hull so i can cut the fairing block. i cannot find this info anywhere so if someone could please help i would greatly appreciate it. thanks in advace--zach

Prior to the newer SeaV hulls in the 90's, the midsize sailfish were around 20 degrees...thats what my 88 sailfish 25 is....but contact GW for sure, they'll have the exact number

It is easy to measure the angle. If the boat is level from side to side, lay a level touching the spot where the transducer will be. With the level held at level bulble, either measure the angle to the hull or just trace a line on a piece of cardboard that is snug to the hull. That's the exact angle.

Your sailfish is 25 ' with a 9'6" beam" . the offshore is 24'2" with an 8'0" beam and both are 20 degrees of deadrise at the transom. The Sailfish changed in 92 when it became a SEAV2 hull and the OFFSAHORE changed in 92 with the SEAV2 hull and became the Explorer. Hope this helps.

AWLGRIP or IMRON. I'd go with AWLGRIP personally, but alot of folks like IMRON also.
