Hi everyone, new to this site and glad to be here, I have just purchased a 1984 sailfish 25' with twin OMC 2.6 seadrives, Iknow, I know ! I will get a lot of flack for this motor/drive combo, but it only has 400 hours on it and seems to be in pretty good shape, having said that there are a few items I am trying to locate, the hydraulic steering cylinders are leaking at the seals, anyone know if these seals are available ? or does teleflex make a replacement cylinder ?
the tilt/trim motor on one side will only run for a few seconds then quits, it is still getting power to it from the switch so i suspect the thermo coupler in the motor itself, anyone have one of these ? and lastly, the round metal switch labels on the instrument panel are faded out, all i can find are the vinyl replacements and i hear they dont last more than a year, any suggestion, thanks in advance for any help, I am sure there will be more to come as i get into the work
