Hey Yall:
I ordered 3 stern lights from Chris at Coastal - 2 green and a white....thanks for all the input. I looked at Seablaze and H20 Lights too but for the money I hope they work well. Anyway, once I get the wires inside the hull, what tips or tricks are there for running a wire from helm to the stern? My dealer rigged my GPS and transducer,so I am not familiar with rigging cables through the rigging tubes. The lights will be here next week and I look forward to installing them. Thanks for the tips.. Bob

Do you have a wire fish? They run about $10 at Home Depot.

Remove the L shaped trim panel that is to the right of your right leg when you are standing at the helm. I think it's held by six screws if I recall. This will give you easy access to the rigging tubes. There are 2 parallel tubes....one will have more room then the other...work the fish tape from the bow to the stern. When it pops out in the rear well, secure the wire to it with a lot of black electrical tape, then gently start pulling it back to the front. Work slowly and make sure that the wire is feeding into the tube without binding. You should be much able to work it through without too much trouble.
