I have a Overnighter 206. The engine sits on a mount behind the boat allowing for a full transom. The 204 has the engine as part of the transom with a notch for the motor. I prefer the 206 due to the fact that it allows for more room in the stern.
Do yourself a favor and learn how to search this site for issues you need to be aware of if considering an older Grady. Older Grady's have issues/changes ie; sv2 hull. Don't get froggy and jump too quick. There's tons of boats for sale, do your homework.
