polishing SS props

I am into the 100 hour maintenance on my engines. Anybody ever try toilet bowl cleaner to polish up your stainless steel props? I used the "works" today while in the dingy after changing lower unit oils and touching up the lower units where I cleverly ran them into the sand out at Shell Island......any way..... it worked very well, polished them up like new. Use caution though, the stuff is pretty caustic, recommend rubber gloves.

I use Noxon or Brasso on the props, thru hulls and other areas to remove surface crust and yellowing. Then it it with some wax.
