Post 1997 Adventure 208 Electronics Box Size

Hey Guys!

Does anyone know or could measure the electronics box size on a 1997 or later 208? I have a 12" Garmin 4212 that I am going to mount in that box and wanted to know if it is going to fit. I would most likely take off the cover and flush mount the 4212 with a piece of starboard.

I don't have my boat yet and just planning what I am going to do when I get it.

The opening size changed from '99 to '2000.

A 12" screen is going to be a tight fit, even for the '00 and newer box. A 4210 might be a better option.

I have the measurements somewhere...GW Customer Service sent them to me (they had a spreadsheet with the box openings for every model.) I'll see if I can find it....
 
Thanks! I didn't know they changed it again after 97. My boat is a 2004 so I'm hoping it is large enough.

If you could get those dimensions that would be great!

Found it...

The measurements are:

Opening: 18 3/8" long x 6 7/8" high
Edge to Edge (one side of the box to another): 19 3/8" x 10"
Depth: Opening to Rear 12 3/8"

If you PM me your email address, I'll send you the PDF file. Its marked for the 2000 model year, but the electronics boxes on the 180, 208, 226/228 haven't changed since then.
