I figured out my previous question about the sonar wiring. I think I got everything hook up right and I will not completely find out until the boat is in the water unfortunately. At least I will have my trailer by then if I have to haul it to work on it again.
My new question is the distance needed between the Raystar 125 and the Radome. The instruction just said above or below. I am going to but an extension on a ratchet bracket, but want to keep it a low as possible still. Will a 12" extension on top of the ratchet bracket be enough or do I need the 24"? The two are probably 3' apart from each other tops. I have been looking at photo online and not many have the extensions, but in the yard I did loose signal once as soon as the radar turned on so I think it is needed.
