I am looking at late model Grady Whites, 232 or 282, with twin Yamaha 150s, 200s, or 250s, four strokes of course. Have there been any significant changes to those engines or engine electronics in the last three years? In other words, are there significant advantages to buying a 2008 over a 2007 or 2006? Will there be changes for 2009? Has Yamaha begun delivering a fly by wire system like the Verado?

No

the 2006s may not have Command Link yet, if that matters to you.

I read there is a new F250 model that has fly by wire, don't know if it is true or if so, has hit market yet.

The 2009 F250 will have the new fly by wire control and it will have all of the new corrosion features that the F350 has, see this months Center Console magazine. As for the advantages of the 150 or 200 compared to a 250, the 250 has variable rate valve timing the 150 and 200's do not. There are numerous advantages to the variable rate timing but I am not qualified to elaborate on them. Hopefully someone that is will post on them. As far as changes from one year to the next I do not know.
