Starting a new project. Replace the facia and compartment doors under the helm and companion seats. Replace the tackle box on the back of the companion seat. Offshore Eddy in Cape May will fabricate them out of Seafoam Starboard. I'll update thread. Eddy saves these templates so if anyone is interested he can do them for you. No pricing yet - I'll put that up too.

Not sure what latches you have but GW uses a lot of Southco latches.

Hi,
I’d love to see the specs. on your new doors. I have to replace 2x my aft battery panel/door. (1984 Sailfish 255) See pics.
Are you using original hinges?
What’s the thickness of the new material?
How’s the finishing on the edges?
Thanks

Mine are very different. Offshore Eddy has them and will start on the design next week. Because mine are a "frame" that inset the cabinet. It will be 3/4" Starboard that is edge routed. The finished edges are radius. Hinge type will be same as original piano hinge and same latch/lock.

I'll put installed photos up tomorrow.

Cabinet doors are recessed like the original frames. 3/4" Starboard is cut down to 1/4" for a 1/2" recess.
Finished Detail.jpeg

Here are the finished cabinet doors. One cabinet has drawers that the frame attaches to. Another had a storage area the was re-built and the last one is just a frame for the cabinet under companion seat.

Here are the old one for comparison.

About $250/panel depending on misc options. Comparable to www.BoatOutfitters.com . Call Offshore Eddy in Cape May, NJ
