I fellow member on the forum mentioned that he had seen a post with pictures of a gas tank deck panel core replacement. I can't find it, can anyone point it out for me?

Thanks.

I don't have a picture but I remeber the post - it had a series of pictures to illustrate the job. It may have been from a poster who has been banned from the sight.
I had the same work done to a Seafarer. The Plywood became delaminated and gave the panel a flexing feel. The fiberglass shop that did mine cut out the plywood installed new and reglassed. If came out as good as new. I was amazed at how light the repaired panel was. The old one had become saturated with water and was very heavy.

Would you share the name of fiberglass shop you used? (Or send me a personal message if you prefer)

somebody on THT did a project and posted status pics. you should do a search there. ron

I don't remeber the name- I think it was in Kingston Ma. I had the work done through Bayside Marine in Duxbury and they use this shop. Maybe someone out there knows the name?
