I have a 1991 240 offshore. When I pulled the boat in the fall I noticed several of the white plastic thru-hull drains were cracked. These are above the water line. They are the drains fot the cooler/fishbox and livewells.

How do I access the part of the thru-hull drain that is inside the boat?

There are inspection plates that you can remove and should be able to get to them. They are the round plates that pop out with a flathead screwdriver.

Plenty of owners have gone through the misery of replacing the old, plastic thru-hulls. It's worth the extra expense to replace them with stainless steel.
