I have a 2017, Freedom 235. I have noticed that the rubber trim molding running vertically adjacent to the retractable lounge seat is coming unglued. The floor molding in this same area is also beginning to come off. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this? A friend of mine suggested a 3m VHB double sided adhesive tape.

That would be fine - better than the original stuff, I'm sure. Some 3M4200 adhesive caulk would be fine, as well. Just tape-off well to avoid a squeeze-out mess.

JB Weld if it isn't ever coming off. I'd prob go with the best 3M double sided tape to start.
