Took the boat out for the last time before having her pulled for the season.
Good day fishing, my buddy and I ran into a bunch of sea bass but it's a bummer knowing we won't be out again until April 2014.

For those still in, enjoy it!

Do you always pull in mid-Oct. or will you push it a little if you have an unusually warm fall?

Pretty much shoot for the weekend after Columbus Day long weekend. I've kept it in later into November I previous years. Between kids back to school, hockey, basketball, soccer and the rest of fall sports/activities and we don't get much time, and when I do, the weather doesn't cooperate.
In addition, I'd rather clean it out and prep it in decent weather. Up here the soft stop at the marina is mid Nov, with a hard stop for a few in mid December. I'm sure if everyone stayed in late, the marina would push back. They require time to winterize, wrap and store.
