posted that I was looking for a vent window for my Journey 258 Grady. got a response from "benf78" that I should contact a lady maned Bonnie that she had parts for a Journey 258. was provided a phone number. Long story short, this was a scam. I sent the funds for the window and have not heard a word from this crook since. She used the e-mail of arronford36.

Sorry to hear. I'd posted a Want to buy ad for fuel sensors a while back and just today got one of those spammers despite replying to my ad that i'm set.

Sorry to hear you were scammed, for future reference one of the things that I always do is check the persons's "Joined date" of when they joined the forum. Of which if they just joined recently and are offering items for sale or "knows of someone" that has some items for sale, that tends to set off a red flag, at least in my mind. With regards to the window you're looking for, I posted a reply to another similar GG member who was looking for the replacement knobs for the vent windows and I actually found the company that produces them. Are you looking for the rectangular looking window or the one that has the asymmetrical shape to it? If it's the rectangular window that doesn't open and is fixed then it looks like it's possibly a 91 series. If it's the asymmetrical window that opens with the knobs on it then it looks like it's the 92 series window. Here's a couple of links included below.

Both have been banned.

Anytime someone, especially a new member replies with "they have the part or names someone that does", always check it out with a few emails back and forth, ask for info, location, something and see what kind of response you get back. I've even called their bluff before and offered to come buy and pick it up to save shipping, never heard from them again. Then I report them or ban them depending on what site I'm on. It happens,,, be careful out there, sometimes they get by us and we can't ban them quick enough.
