Hey Guys,
I searched extensively on here for what type of lubricant to use on my seacocks.. I have my live well out and I am replacing all the hoses. My seacocks work . They are only slightly tight . They do move freely through out their range. I want to lubricate them.

So far I have read white lithium grease , water proof grease and lanolin . What lube do you guys use ?

Just don't forget that whatever you put in there, your bait will be running it through their gills. Depending on what it is, it may affect their longevity. (which has a bad ending anyway):) I think just elbow grease is the best thing.

Then I would suggest Fluid Film. it is a wax-base lubricant, and easy enough to find. Lowes & probably HD have it. Once you have it, you'll find lots of uses for it.

Food grade silicon spray if worried about the bait!
