The mats with holes in them are durable as all get out and quite comfy. But, yeah, they will catch all kinds of crap in the holes. They're not "horrible" to clean as you can just dunk them in the water and the gelcoat deck washes easier/faster than the SeaDek. Timewise to clean... probably comparable to SeaDek - or close enough as makes no difference. Heck of a lot cheaper, though! In the end, you've got choices. As I elluded to above, I'm really not supporting one product or another - just offering pros/cons. Whatever works best for you is the right choice!
