I need to reseal my deck plates, the one covering the fuel tanks an the rear one on my 265 . What is the best sealant for this

I don't know if it was a recent sealant thread or maybe from a little while ago, but I remember that someone posted that either Grady or his dealer uses the BoatLife products. I suspect it may come down to a specific dealer's preference. For example, the Sea Ray dealer where I work uses the BoatLife stuff pretty much exclusively. Like Grady, Sea Ray is a top notch company. Again, preferences - if it's something that's going to be opened up again within a year or two I would stick with the less expensive GE stuff. Otherwise, the BoatLife is a longer lasting product.GE Silicone II Almond color. That is what GW and their dealers use.
