I own a 2020 326 canyon and its seaport blue and am wondering if anyone w/ the same color…if they are having issues with abnormal fading or discoloration spots on the gel coat…As I have numerous areas on my hull w/ abnormal whiteish areas or spots. Coming thru the blue…This is beyond normal wear and tear…And it’s been treated w/ ceramic coatings since new!!! Boat is only 4 years old ,and I’ve had several detail professional look at it and they request painting the hull???….Now since when does a boat $300k. Need painting after 4 years???? Any advice out there???…. Other than that it’s a. SOLID boat!!!!

Is the hull gel coat or is it paint?. I suggest you call Grady support and tell them your problem.
The whitish stains are odd but may be amine blush which would be an issue with hull prep prior to painting, color, gel coating or during hull layup. The issue may be covered by the hull warranty.
Also for my curiosity, is the hull shrink wrapped for the off season if you have a winter season?

Thanks for the reply…It’s Gelcoat and there’s no winter season where I’m at so no shrink wrap Needed…...Winter is boating season

Did you buy the Canyon brand new?
If you did might be a factory issue, looks like it is patch work that bled thru

Yes..I did buy it brand new!!! That’s what Im thinking Patch work done before I received the boat?? Now all the repairs are coming thru???

Another GW owner and I on this site were wondering if there was an issue with how they did the mold or when they separated your hull from the mold, if there was some damage to your hull prior to gelcoat
Is your warranty still valid?
You might want to email Grady white or go back to the dealership if you already haven't
That is a strange issue. how long before you noticed the damage? Did you have a professional service compound your boat? did they use a harmful chemical that might have damaged the gelcoat?
