I have a 2005 Suzi 250 4 stroke that I recently bought. Before running, I replaced the old Sierra filter with a Yami 10 micron filter and replaced the other fuel filter as well. The old filters had some water in them. I also drained the fuel tank of any remaining gas(approx 15 gallons) and refilled with freah gas. i treated this gas with startron and ring free
i took the boat out and it ran great up to about 2500 rpms and then it would bog down and not go any faster. I changed the plugs (didnt look too bad to me) and took the boat out again. this time the boat ran great up to 3500 rpms and then started to cut out and bog down. Irechecked both new filters and there wasn"t any water in them. I unhooked the fuel line past the fuel filter and sqeezed gas into clear jar. No water. Is there a third filter somewhere or what could be going on??
