Canyon 306
Hello, I am new to this site. Have a 2017 grady canyon 306. Contemplating a spot lock as I have seen them in action and think it would be a good fit for my boat. I have a windless and am pretty good at anchoring. I have seen these in action and they are amazing.
I like what I’ve read about the Rhodan.
Anyone have one on their grady 306?
Where Did they install the batteries? How many do you have?
Was the wiring difficult? Will ask my marina mechanics to do the install as I am not capable. Just need some advice as to how it all gets done.
Thanks in advance.

I will receive my Garmin Kraken 90" shaft todayx or in the next days for my 2011 306 Canyon.
The plan is
to install the base port side just after the bow cleats
run the cables over the port side gunwhale down to the front cup holder
Inside the hull to the anchor locker door and exit there to the battery
the battery in a box will be below the bow table i have always down as i don't use it, the area as bow casting platform

The cables for recharge to the console will run in one of the conduits from bow to the inside console electric area.
Mine is in a slip with no shore power and i don't want to take the battery/s with me to recharge so i plan to install two solare panels on the hardtop and use a 36V solar charger. I may consider to add recharge from the engines, but that will be a bit complicated job so it's on hold for now.

If you can wait a few weeks i hope the shipyard installed it and then i can tell you more
