Need help! I am looking for a 12 gang switch panel plate located at the helm of my 2003 Seafarer 226. I am looking for the metal plate the switches are set into.
Anyone know where this can be purchased?

If you can no longer get it from your dealer (did you try?), which is possible given the age of the boat, the other option would be to have it made by a company like New Wire Marine. Might be best to go right to them, anyways.

I do not have the exact shape or dimensions. Will they know the size by boat year and model?

Best option would be New wire marine. They have different options for panels and believe you could even do a custom panel.

Maybe. Call them. They make switch panels for a lot of older boats. They may have the template. All you really need is a photo of someone else's panel, the opening dimensions and the order of your switches. Switch dimensions are standard. They also have a design tool on their web site.

There was nothing wrong with my panel. Switches are no longer available. I upgraded the look and replaced all the switches and covers.

I had mine redone by New Wire Marine last year. 2004 Seafarer. They should still have the CAD drawing on file. Should be same panel as yours.

Likely not available unless GW has it. Reach out to Cust Service via the web. If not, there are firms that make them and will stencil if desired. Do a web search and you find them.

Here’s a panel I had New Wire fab. Basically cut out the entire dash panel except for a 1/2” border to screw the new panel to. Rearranged all the devices, switches, etc and new switch covers also from New Wire.IMG_0366.jpeg

That is a big upgrade - looks great

Well when you start on the panel getting a new one is relatively easy and inexpensive. You then have to look at your 20+ yo switches and covers. And then do you want to use the old jumper wires? NewWire can do all this for you in whatever increment you choose.

Good question... I would imagine there would be "ghosting" of where the panel was. It would be super easy to make a tracing, including the cutouts. Very, very easy, actually. The 'ol fashioned way of paper-n-pencil :)

Fortunately New Wire is local to me. When I was doing the entire dash panel I pictured above all the switch, breaker, trim tabs, chartplotter, etc. cut outs New Wire had templates for. The 4 corner radii were easy to figure out, but the big sweeping radius at the top of the dash was difficult.
I took my old dash panel to them and they laid it on the floor, climbed a 6’ step ladder with a camera and took a digital photo of the old panel. Once they had that photo they could determine the top of the dash radius in CAD which then could be converted to G-code to feed their CNC router. Pretty clever.

Did the same as Coastboater, hand carried my old panel in to them and let them do their thing. Came out great

So,,, OP was given good information but has now ghosted us? Whole thing seems odd from the start. You have a 226 and looking for the 12 space panel but you don't have the exact shape or dimensions?? So what is in that location now? AI post or spammer?
