I wanted to thank everyone for the info I was not sure of. The timely responses and specific information helped me to do the following:

Thermostats
VST filter and tips regarding symptoms and maintenence.
I just started up the twins and they sang!! Especially the Starboard one which I had posted earlier as having RPM issues. The filter in the VST was probably the original!!!!!
