I took DocStressor tip on acetone on the rubrail and the tip to put two coats of mop n glo on it. It looks like new. I have been using Maguiers vinyl protectant and it worked ok. These ideas worked well. You guys are true Boatermen ;-)

Re: Thanks Boatermen for the tips

Firenailer, I fell in love with the word from that utube video. If Homer Simpson can say Doh and make it in the dictionary, then maybe we Boatermen here can do the same? I am trying to figure out how to also make it verb.

Doc, I know you have a PhD and all, but you would be Docky McDockface. However, you are an amazing boaterman and you should wear that with pride.

That acetone worked well. I was a little dizzy though as I finished. I did not have my official American Boaterman Association of America respirator to filter the VOCs coming out of the can or off the rubrail.
