Just wanted to give a plug for my salesman, Ron Dearborn, at Port Harbor Marine in Portland Maine.

We were first time buyers when we met Ron in the fall of last year. He asked questions about our wants and needs and listened carefully for weeks before even offering a few choices.

In the end we settled for our Gulfstream and have been really pleased with the boat and the whole buying experience. Although it was in terrific condition for a three year old boat Ron patiently helped us with all of our dumb questions, frequently answering my emails from his blackberry late at night and early in the morning.

If you're looking for a boat in New England I really recommend giving Ron Dearborn a call at (207) 767-3254.

P.S. We're not related or affiliated in any way with Ron or Port Harbor.

Hi guys,

I was skimming thru the posts and noticed your mention of Ron Dearborn. I agree with everything you mentioned. When I first got into boating in 1998 I met Ron when I saw a listing for a used 22 foot Grady he had a Port Harbor. My family ended up going with a 23 Gulfstream instead thru a private sale. We never forgot Ron's professionalism however, even tho we did not buy the Port Harbor boat. 4 Years later, we returned to Ron to order our first new Grady White 265 Express. He made us feel very comfortable and was and continues to be there for us when problems, issues, or concerns arise! We hope to give him our business again in the future after we finish putting our 2 kids through college! Good luck on you boat.
