I’ve been doing as much of the upfront research as possible on GreatGrady and The HullTruth, as well as general searches on the internet to no avail, when searching for answers on a through stem anchor mod, I’m entertaining for my 99 Sailfish.

I found these threads, videos and one online store with several possible assemblies, but I have yet to find an actual the bow plate / anchor roller assembly manufacture / model that matches the current Grady White look / style and that will fit my boats nuances.
Here’s what I found so far:

I did contact Grady White directly and was told that Windline Marine manufactures the assembly currently used on models sized similarly to the 99 Sailfish, listed as R-2537. I reached out to the only contact number for Windline Marine, to no avail, and I tried their website, but it looks like it’s been down since late last year:

So my question for you guys is, do you know what the specific manufacture / model of the bow roller / plate assembly is on your Grady White with the through stem anchor system and can you post some detailed pictures of the bow and interior anchor locker set up, to aide in the custom fabrications I’ll have to make to match my hulls curves and anchor locker dimensions / layout.

Thanks in advance for your help with this request.

I just went to Windline's website and it only said "performing scheduled maintenance". The only closure notice was over Christmas. But, they might be currently closed due to Covid. If Grady told you to contact them, I would stick with that. After all, Grady is the best source for that info! You'll have to get it from Windline, anyways - so you may just need to wait till all of this blows over.

Looks like a nice project, though!

Got through to Windline Marine today and they said they no longer manufacture any type of anchor roller assembly for Grady and do not have anything similar at all. Went back to Grady and they are looking for the another part number on newer models.

I’ll update all if I get some information that’s solid. Still hoping some members with newer Grady’s, chime in with info and pics to guide me in the right direction.

Thanks for the help in advance.

What about just looking at the pictures on Grady's site of boats - say something like the 275 Freedom? Or can you go look at the boats in person at a local dealer?

I wonder how "perfect" the anchor roller would have to match your bow keel? Maybe make a quick mockup of that area of your boat to check angles. I would think that it may not have to perfectly match... I think the best thing is going to be to look at one in person.

Agreed.

Already have pictures from various models, in and out, but haven’t been able to see one in person to see a manufacture mark or other distinguishing feature to track down.

Waiting on Grady’s home office with crossed fingers. Hopefully next week I’ll be able to go to the local dealer to see them in person, COVID willing as well.

Just got back to work on the boat this weekend and really want to make up for lost time. I’ve always been able to find spot on info on this website if you dug deep enough, but haven’t had any success for far.

thanks
