Got a late start but nonetheless managed a couple of things to mark off my spring to do list.

Changed out the rear scupper drains to the new style and replaced my sink faucet. Once everything is done, I'll do a major scrubbing on her and get ready to go. Pardon the grunge.

Where did you find those scupper drains? I need to do mine. Any issues getting the old ones out?

Ky Grady, did you get those drains here? If so did you use the recommended replacement elbows as well? I need to replace mine but it will probably be next season... Lookin Good!

That's a great improvement KY. I like that new design cockpit drain. Looks like it should flow real well while keeping trash out and the whole sink looks new now.

Amazing how even the smallest changes seem to brighten it all up and make it feel new again!

Very nice:)

I bought them through my Grady dealer in Charleston. Super easy to change out. Very happy with the look. Much better than the hole with the bar across. Hardest part was cleaning the old caulk out before I installed the new ones. The sink faucet was a much needed change. Old one was rough looking, still worked though.

Was stationed in Charleston. Beautiful area. I need to get up that way and visit my Navy buddies one day. Too far to take the boat though lol.

Like what was said in previous post, access dictates difficulty.

On my 228, I have the batteries out and the drains are right there under the front edge of the box, pretty easy to get to. Remove hose and retaining collar from underneath and pop/pry old drain out. Clean up old caulk, attach new elbow to hose, hold underneath hole, apply caulk to new SS drain and screw in, pretty simple.

Looks great - now I have another task for the to do list !

I hope to be winding down on my to do list. Most of my stuff is around the edges it seems. I enjoy upgrading and making it better, either cosmetic or mechanical. Bringing my '04 up to '19 standards as best I can.

Me too....getting the starboard one out shouldn't be a big deal....getting the port one out will likely entail pulling the oil tank.
