Long time since I've been here, but life got in the way and our boat has sat for 8 years. Racoons got into the forward storage area and destroyed the carpet. I've pulled it out and would like to wash in the area also under the helm. Just wondering where the water will go, as in is there a passage for the water to go right into the bottom of the hull then to the drain. I don't want any water trapped somewhere it shouldn't be. I see the drain at the front where the anchor sits so I'm assuming that I should be ok. I don't really want any water running through the pipe which houses the wiring under the floor from front to back but I guess it's been designed that way. Thanks for any suggestions.

I had a 192 , great boat by the way. Clean her out and pull your drain plug on the stern. It's all good. I don't recall how the rigging tube sat ,either on the bottom or the side where the chine forms. Either way, it's not an issue if some fresh water is rinsed down the tube . There are no bare wires in or control cables ..it's all jacketed and insulated as it is. A little water should not bother that stuff.

Thanks, that's what I had been thinking. We love the boat but just don't use it enough and with Covid pricing I may want to sell it, trouble is it can't be replaced. Family gives me dirty looks everytime I mention it.
