I have a 2002 Tournament 223. A cushion was lost while underway and I need to replace it. It was the 4-button snap down cushion that snapped on top of my livewells behind my port ladderback chair. Any ideas on the best way to replace this with a quality replacement?

You can order one from Grady, but after you see the price quote - may have re-considerations. If so, go to a marine canvas fabricator with a photo of what you had, or look at the modle year catalog at Grady website and find a photo showing the boat - hopefully the cushion too.

Make sure you discuss how "springy" you want the cushion, have the fabricator give you samples to try out for firmness. Generally, the more firm it is, the more expensive it is, so if you say nothing you may get something cheap but too soft.

This cushion is rectangular with three 90 degree corners and the southeast corner having a small 45 degree slant. I have the exact mirror image cushion where the 45 degree slant is on the southwest corner. It is sitting behind my starboard ladderback chair over the fish box. I would imagine I could just take this in to a fabricator to do a mirror image match if an OEM cushion is outrageous. Would have been nice to just to have a reasonable place to put in an order and get a cushion!!

Wow

Yup, my Grady dealer wanted $446 for a cushion that was approximately 3'X2' . I almost fell overboard. I will be looking for a local canvas and cushion professional!
