I think this may be blasphemous here (lol)...but I am wondering how many folks here have towables and looking for a reccomendation or two. I have a Connelly Mega Wing and it is a nice 3 person tube you sit in, but it rides rough on the backside. We also have an HO Atom, perhaps the funnest, yep I wrote funnest, tube on the water...It is taking some wear though. I am looking at this tube called the Band Wagon. It is a 4 person tube that has a 2 forward seats with a roll bar like feature and 2 seats where folks can kneel or stand or face backward on a rear deck. It looks pretty cool in the Overton's catalogue.

The reality of it is I can fish only a handful times of the year in the sea, so water sports is a big use of our Grady.

I subscribe to the philosophy that GWs are family fishing boats not hard core fishing boats. With 4 children we do a lot of different things with our Grady. Towing is fine. Just make sure you get the right spreader for your boat if you have twins. The wakes are big and the boats are sleds, but kids love it just the same..... I have single and two person rafts, to be honest we usually go with the single.

Fishtales, Part of the reason we look at bigger towables is because Kyle, my disabled son, needs another rider on the tube. He loves the tube. He can swim with his PFD but should he fall off, my other kids and or riders know to fall off with him as he is partially blind too. We also like stable towables for this very reason which also tend to be the multipassenger ones.

Boats should be fun! Do whatchayalike on them, be it tea-drinking, towing family, gazing at the sea, or whatever!

[Sorry I had to say that, albeit I cannot be of any help with towables, as I have not tried any... yet!]
