I just purchased a new trailer that had been set-up to carry a 26' Proline. I have a older (Pre Sea V2) Sailfish that I will be trailering. Does anyone have their Sailfish on a trailer and have dimentions of how the bunks should be positioned?

I would try to position the bunks, width wise, so that they were located under the stringers. Under the stringers would be the strongest part of the hull and the best place to carry the load.

I would also ideally have one or two inches of bunk protruding beyond the transom so that the hull does not overhang at the stearn.

Sailfish!

Hello to you sir! Sounds like Amigo has some good sound advice. My Sailfish rides on a 2004 Coastline Roller Bunk trailer. Had to shift the rear rollers out just a little to get the thru hull 'ducer and water intakes sitting where they needed to be. Nice to hear another '87 Sailfish pop up. :D
