Anyone have a 1988-1991 sailfish that sits on a trailer? I bought a used trailer and I'm trying to modify the bunks (if necessary) to fit a 1990 GW 252. The trailer was set up for a 1993 GW25, but that has the newer SV2 hull.
I need to know the distance from outside to outside of the strake the boat would sit on and the flat width of the strake. Or should the bunks be on the outside of the bottom strakes? My bunks are presently a little over 63" apart at the back including the carpet.

Thanks for the help.

I bought a new trailer for my 1995 27, and my biggest issue was moving the bunks in to keep them off the trim tabs. I just put it on, eyeballed them and moved them in an inch or so. It's not that exact of a science. The boat is so heavy, as long as you keep it of the chines you should be ok.

Help no longer needed

Well, I drove 45 minutes to a Grady dealer and found a similar hull on a rack. Was able to make the measurements that I needed. Used Trig for the rest. I would have thought someone on the site had an older Grady sitting on a trailer.
