Trailering a bimini

i want to get a trailer for my bimini 306 i have access to a 3500HD and 2500HD chevorlet trucks both 2009's wich one should i use? for the trailer should i get a gooseneck trailer or a regular trailer?

the boat is 7500 lbs plus another 2500 for the trailer and 1500-2000lbs for fuel......thats 12,000lbs plus your gear and family....check the truck specs but don't walk the limit....I'd personaly would go with diesel as well if this is going to be a regular deal....

I pull my boat on a hitch trailer and my wife's horses with a goose neck. Goose neck is much more maneuverable and would be easier to back up, especially with the Bimini of yours! What a beast that boat is! Guy in my marina just got one with twin 350's! I drool every time I see it.

My Ford F350 diesel dually is rated for 18,000 lbs. which is overkill for my boat but not for the horses.

You guys think boating is expensive? Try four horses!
