Starboard lower cylinder integrated link part cracked and believe the tab end also shows a crack. I rarely if ever use them so either it could be an age related crack or sun baked (for first year or two then always indoor stored.
Real question is how to go about replacing the cylinder.
Thought I saw somewhere about lifetime warranty?? What would that cover??
1. Is it screwed or bolted from outside?
2. Is the hydraulic line fixed to cylinder or detachable?
3. If cylinder comes with ingrates hydraulic line how can one feed it through boat? Normally one would use old line as rope but I assume there are so many fixed points between transom and pump location in front of the helm not making it possible to easily get through them.

I try to attach two pictures for reference. The line is just there to now keep it in up position.

you might want to email Bennett directly on their website. very helpful and very quick responses.

The cylinder is screwed to the transom.

There is an extension nipple (on the inside) screwed into the mount that attaches to the hull. The hyd line is screwed to the other end of the nipple.
