I am curious about the need to replace both the switch and the pump. If the switch doesn't work, how did you test the pump? If the pump doesn't work, how did you test the switch?
I ask because the is usually a bit of electronic components that makes the pump run and that is controlled by the switch. Maybe you have checked the parts separately already. I was just checking.

If you have a Bennett, the white electrical connection is notorious for having a bad connection at plug near the hydraulic pump. It fools a lot of people into replacing the pump and the switch. Check power on both sides of the plug when the switch is operated.

switch in place port side actuates up and down valve (hear a click) but no motor. starbord side nothing at all. pulled switch verified 12v at pos buss, jumpered 12 v to each contact and got same result. i will try 12 v jumper at pump side of plug next
