Twin Yamaha Question

How many RPMs should I expect with a WOT. I used to get 6,000 from a 225 on a Gulfstream. I now get 5,500 on a 282 Sailfish with twin 225.
I am not sure if this is by design or if I may have wrong props. The boat goes plenty fast at 5,500. I am just lokking to optimize the power for fuel economy

5500 isn't too bad for a F225. If you have 17p props I wouldn't go any lower in # for a higher RPM's.
