I notice when we are in rough water i get water in the forward bilge . I can check it by popping off the acees cover on the floor of the cuddy. I recently installed a new bilge pump .I works fine but I wonder if water is coming in through it ? The discharge port seems too high on the starboard side for this to happen. I have no idea why there is water getting in . On a calm day nothing . Any thoughts? Thanks Harold ..

If the discharge hose is properly installed for the forward bilge, it is very unlikely that water is entering through it. There are plenty of sources for water to enter the forward bilge area. Any water getting in cabin windows, hatch, etc.. Water can enter from being splashed up and under rubrail, entering through seam of hull/cap under rubrail. Bowrail attaching points, anchor clamps, pulpit connections, etc..

There are also conduits running from front bilge to rear bilge, and from tank area to rear bige, although the tank area conduit should be plugged
in the rear bilge area, keeping possible fuel leaks in fuel cell compartment.

This may not be the setup on all year 22' Seafarers

How to you know it's not the stern bilge water moving forward ?

When the boat bow lifts when you hammer it, does the rear pump go on auto?
