The 2nd day of a holiday weekend and the tuna were spooked. We had a few meter marks on kelp paddies, and the yellowfin were swimming with the dolphins, but with so many boats around, it was tough to get them to go.
We helped a guy out who ran out of 2-stroke oil 35 miles from home. Luckily the 2 quarts we keep buried away for dire emergencies was able to help someone out.
In turn, this nice bull dorado saved our day. Got him trolling tuna feathers.
