For anybody looking to save some money this is how I resealed my windshield. Glass was coming out it corners. Popped window garnish plastic moldings out. Mine were 45 years old came out in pieces. Next, pry window out with plastic auto trim tools from harbor freight. If needed to get a corner up, gently press window forward from inside boat. Work around the glass carefully with the plastic tool. Remove the glass, clean all old caulking from glass and frame. A razor knife and acetone works well. Do the best you can on the frame, a little left behind should be ok. Tape around the outside trim where you don’t want caulking. Tape around window where you don’t want caulking as well, look for old “witness mark” lines as a guide. Purchase 3m window weld. Apply a generous bead where glass will sit in channel, smooth it with your finger. Have plenty of gloves available, a couple pairs on hands at a time so you can just take ‘‘em off and be ready to go. Press glass in leaving gap needed. Used good pressure, work glass in caulking around the window. Apply blocks or clamps for pressure if needed. For window trim I used door black vinyl weather seal roll. As I could not find the original stuff or anything close. That is just aesthetic, I used some 3m weather stripping adhesive as needed on that. This worked great, the 3m window weld cures rock hard.
