Yesterday after fueling, the gauge kept beeping and flashing between the combo view and setting view. This occured, when in neutral, underway, and when the key was turned to the right without the engine started. Was operating properly before arriving the fuel dock. Replace the fuel and water separator earlier in the week. Any help is much appreciated! thanks, Rob

Need more info to get any help. What style gauges? Assume Yamaha? Best to get the programming instructions on the type gauge and it will probably tell you how to fix it. If You are talking fuel level, there are at least two different settings for types of fuel senders . You could be seeing some sort of warning as well typical of flashing. You need to get/give more info and gauge operating/programming instructions.

Thanks for the quick response! It's a 2017 Yamaha f300 on a 2017 Freedom 235 with a 6Y9 engine gauge. With the beeping and screen flashing between "combo" and "setting", it does not appear to be a normal warning. I'm unable to use the keys to break the screen flashing. Will look for the programming instructions. Excellent suggestion! thanks

If the gauge started beeping and flashing soon after leaving the fuel dock, it may be a "water in fuel' warning. Always be suspicious of fuel purchased at any water side fuel delivery. Of course, we buy it but be suspicious.

Has anyone experienced sticking buttons? This could be a possible explanation.

Thanks!
