I had an empty fuel tank so I took the opportunity to calibrate the tank on my Yamaha CL7 display.
On my boat, the CL7 works together with 2 Garmin 7612xsv's.
To calibrate, I opened the calibration screen on the CL7 and followed the directions (including adding fuel to the tank).
When I completed the routine, the CL7 indicated that the sensor calibration was successful.
Then, when I went back to the basic engine screen, and noticed the fuel level indicator was blank. There were no bars in the tank level section of the screen to show the fuel level in the tank.
I then went to another information screen on CL7. The available fuel section of that screen showed I had 185 gal available (my tank capacity is 186 gal).
What did I do wrong?
