Its in the water. We ran a few miles over the weekend to watch fireworks. I have not fished all season except a little spinning with my 2 year old for perch at the dock. We plan on a trip this weekend to our YC that gives us 12 free nights a season. I can burn the gas to go stay somewhere for free. We are becomming big proponents of the STAYcation.

I'm glad someone is out fishing, How bout posting a few photos so I can live viacariously thorugh your hundred gallons. jh

No one in the water fishing and boating anything? Pete
R U Kidding? Come down to the Sunshine State. I fish at least three days a week and the fishin's been pretty good. With the afternoon thunderboomers, trips have generally ended around noon or shortly after.

Mine is currently sitting on the trailer in my driveway. I didn't bother to pony up for a slip this year as I was really hoping to have it sold. :?

Anyway, it's only been wet twice so far this year. Once for a no money down sea trial/boat ride and once for an afternoon w/ the family. I'm experiencing severe lack of interest because it ain't too much fun taking a teething 7 month old out....

Besides, going out in the Grady takes away from my "working on the Mako" time. :)

We've been out a few times. Sunday was NASTY, the fog didn't lift until way past noon and too many idiots flying blind (one was a 90+' head boat that almost got a sinker). We waited by the railroad bridge before Manasquan inlet (landed 1 26" striper) for a while before heading back to the bay.

Half of the people were relying on their GPS's (didn't have RADAR) and hoped there wasn't someone in front of them.

Here's some pics:

This is after the fog lifted a little.
