The zipper is stuck on the overhead storage area on my T-Top. Any suggestions on unsticking it? I'm sure it's just salt corrosion.
Are you talking beeswax from a toilet bowl ring or something else?Zippers are definitely a PM thing that we (including me!) often don't realize we need until after we realize we need it... did I say that right?
Personally, I like beeswax as it goes on dry so there's no chance of attracting dirt. But lube is good, too.
No, you can buy a 1lb block of it from a craft store... probably online, as well. I still have over 1/2 of a 1lb block that I bought nearly 20 years ago for about $10. I cut it into a cube of about 1" for easy handling and toss it in a ziploc in my toolbox. I use it on snaps, too.Are you talking beeswax from a toilet bowl ring or something else?
Definitely something you need to use once in a while just to make sure it doesn't get all crusted up. I hadn't opened that zipper in probably two years.Zippers are definitely a PM thing that we (including me!) often don't realize we need until after we realize we need it... did I say that right?

If it's corroded you can get 30% vinegar and put it in a spray bottle and the acid will dissolve the corrosion. It will freeThe zipper is stuck on the overhead storage area on my T-Top. Any suggestions on unsticking it? I'm sure it's just salt corrosion.
