How about 3/4" marine plywood 6' to 8' long and 24" to 30" wide with screen molding for non slip. Maybe 2X2X4-6" under center for added support ???. :hmm
Purchased her used, had the dealer remove the name BEFORE I paid for her, once home re named her but used part of the original name just to be on the safe side.. that was 6 yrs ago and have had fair seas. Good Luck
I'm in ILM and have a '01 247 w/ twin 150 4 stroke and go to the stream, I came out of a 232gt twin 150's and like the 247 MUCH better. At 32-3300 rpm get 2.3 mpg about 9.8 to 10 gph. This boat does great even on bad days. pm me and we'll talk.
I've been using the brass quick release hose fittings from Home Depot for the last 4 years. I've had to replace the female fitting on my garden hose from time to time because of taking the nozzle on and off but never had a problem from the male/female on the engins. :idea:

I have an '01 Advance 247 and it has a base coat and 3 or 4 coat of bottom paint and noticed this spring that there is blistering on the Starboard/Ste :cry: rn area.
