Anyone use Rupps Alum Guard Wipes

I recently saw an ad for Rupps Alum Guard wipes. It said that you can use it on the rails, hard top supports, reels etc. It would be nice to have some thing you could use on the hard top supports while you still have the side curtains on. If they are as good as they say, I would do a quick wipe down after a wet ride and a fresh water wash down. Has any one used them and what has been your experience? I checked the major boating chains around Annapolis and no one carries them.

Just tried it this weekend. I think it provides protection but your metal ends up very slick. Not good if you grab rails to get around the boat. I'd also use a surgical glove next time because you end up with that same slippery feeling on your hand.

No slippery comments from the peanut gallery, please. :lol:

T-9 is best for metals. just wiped it on and off and it should last all season...

its good stuff...if its really slippery, just whipe the excess off, probably the easiest on / off metal polish i have every used?
