Last August I bought a 2000 272 Sailfish and wanted to get the name put on this year. Just curious, what font did you use, what color, what size? It will be down the sides of the hull.

Thanks Mahi but I'm looking for fonts, colors and sizes. I wanted to get a similar font and color to what GW uses. The size of "EPPE" looked about right to me at 8"

My boat, Bowdoin II, was on page 2 of the thread: 6" font, same color as the trim.

We used BoatUS. The navy blue with a light border of gold (I think) matches really well. Didn't try to match the font since ours is on the stern.

I use boatus also. You get to build it and see it and change it around until you get it just the way you like.

For my new to me sailfish, I just had some made, small and basic this time, just for the transom door. My concern this time was the color. PC colors can be deceiving. Was not 100% sure but had to decide on navy and it turned out to be the right call for the grady.

Congrat's on the boat purchase. :D
