I have some seams coming apart on my bow seating on my 2011 Freedom 275. 2 questions, is this repairable and how do I remove this part of the seat?

Thanks in advance

Yes, they can be restiched. Doesn't look like the material is ripped, just the thread failed. I had my 2007 cushions restitched. Not sure if the cushions on a 2011 are attached the same way but on mine there are z-clips and phillip head screws located at the drains at the bottom of the cushions as shown below. Surprised to see the stitching failed, your cushions look perfect?

This is very helpful thank you! The boat is new to me this year and the cushions were like that when I got it. Its only this one seat.

Thanks again

Now the challenge is to find a good marine upholstery shop. I was not happy with the shop that did mine and what he charged me (Caito Ulpostery in East Providence RI). I removed the covers and just brought him the covers and he charged me $140. Ask around in your area. A little bit of a ride for you but Canvasback in Wickford, RI did a repair on my bow cover and did a great job at a fair price. The Tournament/Freedoms are great boats. We got ours last October and this is our first season with it.

Thanks. Maybe start a new thread to see if someone in your area can recommend a good shop. Good luck.
