Plans are set for the Gulf Coast Grady Fest 2009 and reservations are being accepted.

Mark your calendars for the “largest gathering of Grady owners in the world”. On March 28th, 2009, the Grady Owner’s Clubs and the Grady-White Dealers of Florida will sponsor a one day symposium in Punta Gorda, Florida at the Charlotte Harbor Event and Conference Center.

This unique and historic event will feature a full day of presentations by leading manufacturers in the marine industry including the event kickoff by Kris Carroll, the President of Grady-White. Grady Fest will offer three venues that includes a “Captain’s Symposium”, a “First Mate’s Symposium” and an exhibition hall with 28 vendors displaying, demonstrating and selling their merchandise.

For the Captains, presentations by Grady-White, Garmin Marine, Yamaha, an attorney explaining liabilities on the water, and others will cover informative and exciting topics for every boat owner. The First Mates will be treated to demonstrations by local seafood chefs on preparing the day’s catch as well as a safety session by a Coast Guard Captain and a local female fishing guide. The mates will also hear from a Dermatologist about safety in the sun and there will be open forums on preparing for your cruise, favorite destinations around Florida and an owner’s forum with Grady-White. It will be a full and fun packed day.

Also, a large exhibition hall will be set up with booths from a variety of marine manufacturers. This will offer the attendees a unique learning and shopping experience. Many new and exciting marine products will be on display in a “boat show” fashion.

Admission to Grady Fest will be by reservation only and is open to all Grady-White owners and guests. Seating is limited so reserve your space early. This is a non-profit event and a charge of $20 per person will be collected to cover a beautiful commemorative T-shirt and breaks and lunch for the day. Throughout the event many door prizes will be given away and there will be a dockside social after the event.

Arrangements have been made with a local marina if you are coming by boat.
