So i picked up the boat today... it hasn' t been run yet this year.
Was winterized by the marina.

Yamaha 175 year 1993.... will not fire.

plugs look fine. NO FUEL! I take apart the bulb and it's dry...

is there a fuel shut off for this boat?

Did go put 30 gallons of premium in it...with marine stabil.

Has a fuel seperator, and a multi selector. ( has a hose for a kicker motor). Arrow is pointing at my fuel line...
When I change to arrow to the kicker line and depress the valve and squeeze the ball no fuel either.

what am I missing>?

thanks... Dennis

Glad you got it sorted out. You should probably mount the line in that upright position if possible. I used zip ties on my line to get the primer bulb oriented in that verticle position - arrow up. Could also use the plastic hose clamps that screw to fiberglass. Anyway, great news. Now enjoy summer with the new Grady!

I am glad it started but if I were you, I would take a close look at things.
The primer bulb should work regardless of position. It has two check valves that should work in any direction. Of course if one of those got stuck open, you wouldn't be able to prime.
That said, the fuel pumps should still suck fuel although it might take some time cranking. Again, the pumps' may be dry or stuck but if they haven't been changed in a while, you should look at doing so.
Either issue mentioned could be related to things sticking like check valves and that could indicate some sludge or varnish in the fuel system. The best cure for that is adding fresh gas and using it up/refilling without leaving a lot stored in the tank.

Enjoy.
