Sorry to hear about this. I have read stories also down in FL about these thefts.
I wonder if there is some system made that can cover the mounting bolts and lock down so it would make it very hard or not worth it to try to remove it and steal them? At least slow them down, etc. Kinda like those on your car that have locking lugs or even a SS cover that would not allow them to access the bolt heads/nuts without major slow down..... :hmm
